about
Originally written and demoed in 2010 in the early winter when jealousy and self-doubt was at an all time high. This song was actually briefly released as a teaser for the Dolorous era, but was quickly taken down. I forgot about the song but always felt it deserved to be recorded properly and with more care. Listening to the original demo set off my intention of creating an EP of more subdued and patient songs.
lyrics
Walked alone again
Nothing to do with an hour to say to anyone
No longer left with second thoughts on mind
Not on mind
Not on mind
It's not mine
Oh it's not mine, believe me
So whose is it?
I don't know
We don't care
One lifetime finished and four left on the side
To follow me there
Cause one of these days
I won't have to cut time
For you stay again and again and again
And I'll settle in
Into the second best
Or whatever is left to forsake it
Just to make sure
That I'll be back (now I know)
Has it come to that?
Yeah, it's come to that again (anyone would know)
And you know everything
And I'm left clueless
